Buckhead, June 1, 2024 – The Board of Directors of 3A Foundation officially announced the winner of its 2024 grant funding contest to Asian American Museum. A grant of 10K was presented to Asian American Museum at a reception by 3A Foundation at Nobu Restaurant.
3A Foundation announced the grant funding competition for AAPI small businesses, artists, and entrepreneurs in February 2024. Over 20 submissions were received and vetted by the Foundation.
“The Asian American Museum is a legacy and heritage project to preserve the accomplishments of AAPI in metro Atlanta and Georgia. We are deeply honored to be selected by 3A’s Board for this grant. The funding will help in the project’s initial development,” said Li Wong, founder of the Asian American Museum.
“We hope the grant funding will inspire more AAPIs to launch their dreams and aspirations that benefit the community. We realized many startups need a little support to reach their dreams,” said Jimmy K. Papillon, Board member of 3A Foundation.
Legislators, businesses, and community leaders were invited to a reception at the rooftop of Nobu.
3A Foundation strives to empower Asian Americans by inspiring their active engagement and pursuit of leadership positions in politics, media, business, and community organizations. The Foundation aims to cultivate a profound understanding and appreciation for Asian American culture and its contributions to society.
