Gov. Kemp names 4 AAPI to Judicial Nominating Commission

Judicial Nominating Commission (JNC) which makes recommendations to the Governor to fill vacancies in state, superior, and appellate courts in Georgia

Atlanta, October 27, 2021 – Governor Brian P. Kemp announced 35 appointments including 4 Asian American Pacific Islanders (AAPI) to the Judicial Nominating Commission (JNC) which makes recommendations to the Governor to fill vacancies in state, superior, and appellate courts in Georgia.

“It is my honor to appoint this remarkable coalition legal professionals to the Judicial Nominating Commission,” said Governor Kemp.

“I look forward to working with them to ensure that members of the state judicial branch honor the law, share our values, and serve with integrity and humility. I am thankful to each of these distinguished individuals for answering the call to public service on behalf of our state.”

The four AAPI individuals appointed by Gov Kemp are:

Sheetal Desai, Managing Partner of the Trusted Lawyers, a Desai Law Group, PC.

Soo Hong, Founding Partner, Blevins & Hong, PC.

Jamie Inagawa, Asst. District Attorney, Griffin Judicial Circuit

Cam-Anh Le, General Counsel, Georgia Technology Authority
