Duluth, February 21, 2025— The Korean American business community in metro Atlanta hosted a fundraising gala to support the 2025 World Korean Business Convention (WKBC), an international business gathering set to draw more than 12,000 participants from across the globe.
The Korean American Chamber of Commerce USA and the Korean American Chamber of Commerce Atlanta, Georgia, along with Hyundai, jointly organized the fundraising event at Westin Gas South.
Scheduled for April 17-20 at the Gas South Convention Center in Duluth, Georgia, the WKBC will serve as a key forum for Korean and U.S. businesses to forge new partnerships, explore investment opportunities, and engage in high-level discussions with government and industry leaders.
Former Georgia Governor Nathan Deal has been named Honorary Chairman of the event, while businessman Sunny Park will serve as Chairman.
Since its inception in 2002, the WKBC has grown into the largest global convention for Korean businesses, attracting over 3,000 participants annually from more than 60 countries. The 2025 edition aims to build on this legacy, providing a platform to showcase technological innovations, strengthen trade ties, and facilitate cross-border collaboration.
With anticipation building ahead of the convention, organizers say the event will play a pivotal role in fostering deeper economic ties between Korea and the United States while positioning Atlanta as a key player in global trade discussions.
