Chamblee, February 18, 2024 – The National Association of Chinese Americans (NACA) celebrates Lunar New Year of Dragon with dinner banquet and an annual scholarship donations. Highlight of evening included $18,000 scholarship to Georgia Tech (as part of 5-years $90,000 commitment), $30,000 to GSU Perimeter College for Need base scholarship, and $2500 for Emory AAPI students association.
Monica Pearson was the keynote speaker for the evening. Among the guest of honors included Georgia AAPI Legislative Caucus Chair, Rep. Michelle Au and State Rep. Sam Park who delivers the welcome greetings.
M. Brian Lake, President of Georgia State University was on hand to witnessed the scholarship donation to GSU-Perimeter College. Guests were treated to a 10-course banquet along with traditional lion dances with cultural performances.
