Norcross, July 29, 2023 — The National Association of Chinese Americans (NACA) held its 2023 annual meeting at Chow King Buffet Restaurant to elect its Board of Directors for the 2023-2024 term.
NACA’s President, Maggie Mers, thanked members, friends and family for their participation and support of NACA during the past year and promised more quality programs and events for the coming year to benefit members and achieve NACA’s missions.
NACA members cast their ballots and elected the following members to serve on the 2023-2024 Executive Board of Directors: Lani Wong–Chair, Maggie Mers–President, Eric Wang–Senior Vice President, Lynn Yang-Vice President, Carol Ng–Treasurer, Nellie Li-Secretary. General Board Members elected are
Bryan Mock, Ric Hubler, Shandra Law, Xiao Tong, Mike Deng, Tracy Xu.
Established in 1980, NACA strives to achieve its mission of “bridging cultures, building leaders, and benefiting communities” by organizing and sponsoring activities that promote cultural, educational, scientific and business relations and exchanges between U.S. and China. It encourages Chinese-Americans to participate in the American political process while preserving their Chinese heritage in the American culture.
