Atlanta, November 7, 2023 – Governor Brian Kemp signed an Executive Order to extend the State of Emergency tax suspension for tax on motor and locomotive fuel.
The extended fuel tax rollback is effective until 11:59 p.m. Nov 29, 2023, according to the signed Executive Order.
The original tax suspension was due to expire on Nov 11. Gov. Kemp announced the suspension to provide relief to drivers due to rising inflation in early October.
