Norcross, July 20, 2022 – Georgia Asian Times presented the 2022 Asian American Spirit Award to Asian American Resource Center (AARC) at the GAT 25 Most Influential Asian Americans in Georgia-Awards Gala last Friday evening. The Gwinnett based non-profit organization founded by the late Reverend Henry Jee was honored for its support services to Asian American immigrant community in metro Atlanta.
AARC provides human services, education, and job placement to the poor and disadvantaged members of the Asian community in metro Atlanta. It assists the elderly, jobless, single mothers, and unskilled people to break through language, cultural, and social barriers in an effort to obtain self-sufficiency and stability.
The Georgia Asian Times's prestigious annual award is bestowed upon organizations who demonstrate extraordinary dedication to the principles that strengthen America’s communities. Through their work and philanthropy, Asian American Spirit Award recipients exemplify the highest standards of integrity, discipline, and initiative while making unselfish contributions to their community, state, or the nation.
