Asian art and Balinese wood carvings beautify couples home in North Georgia

Ken and Sophie Hobbs are both avid global travelers with a penchant for unique undiscovered places especially Southeast Asia.

A retired American couple decorates their North Georgia home by Lake Lanier with unique art collections collected from their global travels.  Ken and Sophie Hobbs are both avid global travelers with a penchant for unique undiscovered places especially Southeast Asia.  The couple often wandered off beaten tourist destinations such as East Timor, Sulawesi, Sumatera, Borneo, Vietnam, Myanmar, Andaman Islands and the  Philippines.

Georgia Asian Times paid an exclusive visit to the couples' beautiful and unique home by Lake Laker in North Georgia recently. Our team of photographers captured images of the art collections and Balinese wood carvings. The couple master bedroom was adorned with Balinese wood carvings especially commissioned by the couple.
