Food court restaurants are normally not your “go to places” for quality food. However, I stumbled into a new kind of food court restaurant that offers fresh and tasty home cooked meals. Just imagined a “Piccadilly Cafeteria” in the food court setting with fresher quality food.

You will find freshly prepared home cooked food such as mac and cheese, meatloaf, okras, fresh salad, salisbury steaks, corn breads, etc.

There is also a fusion of cuisines that caters to the new American taste combining traditional American home cooking with Asian and Latin fusion cooking.

I particularly enjoys the Jalapeño shrimp dish cooked with Mexican jalapeño peppers along with Asian style hot sauces. Shrimps are tender and juicy cooked to perfection with a right balance of flavors of sweetness and heat.

For the health conscious diners, there are many selection available to meet your dietary needs. Their best selling char-broiled chicken is a must to try. It is a perfect addition to an order of a healthy combo orders.

Farmer's Basket offers variety combinations of 1-sides or 2-sides vegetables along with either 1-meat or 2-meat, or seafood orders. Prices starts from $6.99 to $10.79 pending on your combo selections. The prices vary at their various locations.

There are many varieties of fresh greens and salads to choose from the counter. The steamed broccoli and green beans are not to be missed.

Notably their stir fried noodles and fried rice are widely popular with diners. There are also steam rice option for those who opted for healthier choice.

Carrot cakes, fruit bowls, and cheesecakes are desserts readily available.

Large crowds typically lined the counter during lunch hours from noon to 2:00 pm and dinner hours. They are open for business daily from 11:00 am until 9:00 pm.

For those who opts for convenience and doesn't want to fight the mall crowd, you may order from GrubHub, UberEats and several other food delivery vendors at selected locations.

Farmer's Basket is a franchise restaurant currently operating in over 10 locations around metro Atlanta and Georgia. They have stores at Mall of Georgia, Perimeter Mall, Lenox Square, Stonecrest Mall, Peachtree Center, Cumberland Mall, North Point Mall, Town Center Mall and Riverchase Galleria in Birmingham, Alabama.
