Gwinnett started receiving public feedback on Gwinnett Place Mall redevelopment

Gwinnett officials hosted its first Gwinnett Community Open House to seek public feedback on the redevelopment of Gwinnett Place Mall.

Duluth, Sept 11, 2021 – Gwinnett residents started to share personal feedback and inputs for the redevelopment plans of Gwinnett Place Mall. Gwinnett officials hosted its first Gwinnett Community Open House to seek public feedback on the redevelopment of Gwinnett Place Mall.

“We want to make sure the redevelopment is conducted in an equitable manner to benefit every Gwinnett and stakeholders of Gwinnett community,” said Nicole Love Hendrickson, Chairwoman, Gwinnett Board of Commissioners, in her remarks.

Turnout was light for the first open house and Gwinnett officials expected to host a series of open house to gather public feedback in the coming months.

The general public were treated to a free dinner meals along with an Oscar award winning film “Minari” after the sunset.
