Atlanta, March 8, 2018 — The organizer of the 2018 Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival has formally open the team registration for this year’s festival. This year’s festival falls on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Olympic Kayaking Venue at Lake Lanier in Gainesville.
“We encourage teams to register early as we’re expecting an early sold out event. We’ve received many early inquiries from out of state teams this year,” said Gene Hanratty, founder and Executive Director of the Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival-Atlanta.
Registration is $1000.00 per team and is available online at www.DragonBoatAtlanta.com
This year’s festival takes place one week prior to the 2018 ICF Dragon Boat World Championship scheduled to take place Sept 12-16 at the same venue. There are strong interest by teams to participate due to the ICF Dragon Boat World Championship.
