Atlanta, Dec 28, 2021 – Covid-19 Omicron infection numbers is on the rise throughout Georgia, according to latest numbers released by Georgia Department of Public Health.
Cases in Georgia increased by nearly 8700 on Monday and the numbers are nearing the peak recorded in early January and early September. Hospitalizations throughout the state have reached near 1900 cases and it is the highest number recorded since mid-October.
PCR tests ht an all time high of 31 percent past Monday. Georgia Department of Public Health encourage vigorous testings and practice social distancing.
