Buckhead, October 30, 2023 – Oita Wagyu beef ranks amongst the finest wagyu beef from Japan. The high quality premium brand consistently ranks 4 or 5 in “Oita Bunggogyu” beef brand ranking. The premium beef was introduced to metro Atlanta public at a Oita Wagyu tasting held at Buckhead Butcher Shop.
A select group of notable guests including the Consul General of Japan Atlanta were on hand to sample the fine beef organized by Uon USA Inc, the Wagyu beef import distributor for the brand.
“I am pleased to introduce the Oita Wagyu to the foodie crowd and consumers in Atlanta,” said Ayako Yasuda, Sales Representative for the Atlanta market.
Guests were treated to a series of Oita Wagyu beef dishes prepared by a Japanese culinary chef and the head chef from the Buckhead Butcher Shop. Guests were surprised with the velvety texture of the beef along with its tastiness.
Alongside the tasting of Oita Wagyu beef, guests were treated to sample locally distilled Japanese whisky and sake.
