A young couple decided to pack their bags in Northern California and relocated to Georgia seeking new opportunities about five years ago. Calvin and Laura Le have never looked back or ever regretted their decision.
Calvin and Laura are planning to open a new restaurant in the Duluth area based on a wildly popular “Cajun fusion” restaurant chain in West Coast and Las Vegas.
Rockin Crawfish currently has over ten locations in California, Las Vegas, and another two overseas locations in Vietnam.
Their decision to open their business on Pleasant Hill Road in Duluth is simple — “This is a booming area and has diversity of people from all walks of life,” said Calvin with a smile.
Calvin further explained their concept and menu offering will attract a diverse array of customers who appreciate good food in a casual-fun environment.
Rockin Crawfish has a reputation for its tasty Cajun seasoning sauces and fresh live crawfish sourced daily from the Bayou.
The menu offers selection ranging from crawfish, crabs, shrimps, gumbos, poboys, sausages, corn, potatoes by the pounds.
In addition, there is a full service bar serving variety of liquors, wines, craft and draft beers.
“We wanted to introduce a casual fun dining environment where you can get loose and dirty while enjoying good food,” adds Calvin.
Customers will experience a funky decor with old classic speakers lining up a wall along with classic records, cassettes covers, classic beer cans, and license plates from all over the country as decorations.
They hope to conduct a “soft opening” within the coming weeks pending the necessary final permits approval.
