2 Republicans and 8 Democrats will make up the largest AAPI caucus when the next Georgia legislature convenes

Georgia’s AAPI candidates made history with 10 seats in Georgia Legislature

Georgia made history with 10 AAPI candidates winning their seats for Georgia's House of Representatives and Georgia Senate. 2 Republicans and 8 Democrats will make up the largest AAPI caucus when the next Georgia legislature convene. 6 AAPIs winning candidates from both parties are running in their seats for the first time.

Republicans:

State House of Representatives (District 20)
Charlie Byrd 100% 21,616

State House of Representatives (District 103)
Soo Hong (Rep) 61.40% 13,267

AD: High Museum of Atlanta

District Attorney-Cherokee Judicial Circuit
Samir J. Patel 100% 51,600

Democrats:

Georgia Senate:

State Senate (District 5)
Sheikh Rahman (Incumbent-Dem) 100% 26,311

State Senate (District 7)
Nabilah Islam (Dem) 52.82% 32,607

GA House of Representatives:

State House of Representatives (District 50)
Michelle Au (Dem) 54.01% 11,968

State House of Representatives (District 80)
Long Tran (Dem) 57.10% 12,073

State House of Representatives (District 97)
Rowan Roman (Dem) 57.68% 10,529

State House of Representatives (District 98)
Marvin Lim (Incumbent-Dem) 100% 6061

State House of Representatives (District 105)
Farooq Mughal (Dem) 51.72% 10,495

State House of Representatives (District 107)
Sam Park (Dem) 68.22% 9,423
