Atlanta, Nov 15, 2021 – Georgia Asian Times plans to launch community engagement podcast channels serving ethnic AAPI communities in Georgia and Southeast. To launch the series, GAT will introduce two new podcast channels in their ethnic languages serving the Filipino and Laotian diaspora.

A weekly Filipino diaspora podcast, “Usapang Pinoy Georgia”, will be hosted by Mary Jane Rolen, who is also the current President of Philippines Chamber of Commerce Georgia (PACCGA).

Dao Malaythong and Amy Chomthakam will co-host a weekly Laotian diaspora community podcast named “SungKhom Lao”.

“Both weekly podcast are designed to inform and to share information with their diaspora in their own ethnic language. The podcast series also aims to inspire, educate and entertain,” said Li Wong, Publisher of Georgia Asian Times.

AD: High Museum of Atlanta

Both podcasts series will be broadcast weekly on a regular schedule. Fans are able to follow the podcast by scanning a unique QR code with their mobile phone that link directly to the weekly podcast.

Specifically, the podcast will be informative with latest news on local community news, health, public safety, elections and important announcement. It will also feature a guest interview with local personality, entrepreneurs, or individuals of the community.

The first podcast are expected to be launched by end of November.
