New Mandarin Learning Center officially opens at Chinese Culture Center in Chamblee

The Center for Mandarin Learning offers 12-weeks totaling 36-hours interactive Mandarin learning programs to both children and adults.

Chamblee, Oct 2, 2021 – The opening ceremony of Taiwan's Center for Mandarin Learning at Chinese Culture Center was officiated by Elliott Wang, Director General of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Atlanta. Mayor Joseph Geierman of Doraville, Dr. Michael Rhett-Georgia State Senator, Scott Holcomb-Georgia House of Representative (D-81), Karen Lupton-Chamblee City Councilwoman were among the elected officials attending in the ceremony.

The Center for Mandarin Learning offers 12-weeks totaling 36-hours interactive Mandarin learning programs to both children and adults via a hybrid of in person and online classes. Students will participate in 2-hours weekly in person learning along with 1-hour Zoom or Google class. Group classes will begin in September 2021, January 2022 and April 2022.

The new Mandarin Learning Center is amongst 15 centers that have been established to promote Mandarin Chinese by Taiwan government in US. It is also the only center established in the Southeast US.
