Fried chicken “heaven” is now available in Suwanee

bb.Q Chicken Suwanee is one of those rare find in an area full of good Korean food. This is a must place to wet your appetite for their famous fried chicken. I know a lot of folks are hesitant about Korean fried chicken – which normally is over fried and dry. However, BBQ Chicken serves up a wide array of tasty and moist fried chickens in North metro Atlanta.

The franchise store in Suwanee is their second store in the metro area. Their first Georgia store is located in Duluth. A well known goto place for Korean fried chicken connoisseurs. As matter of fact, I was introduced by a Korean friend who enjoys eating out.

The franchise started in 1995 in South Korea and has over 1000 stores around the world. It has a famous reputation among New Yorkers foodie and fried chicken fans. Their chickens are mostly deep fried in olive oil which is healthier compared to other chicken franchises such as KFC, Popeyes, and Church's.

Their chicken selection are available as whole chicken, wings or boneless chickens. A wide range of flavors from their original flavor, secret spicy chicken, gable chicken, to honey garlic. Their servings comes in two sizes: Medium for $12.00 to $14.00 or Large for $22.00 to $24.00 pending on the order variety. They are also serve a “Combo” mix of Half & Half. Combo half & half whole chicken and Combo half & half boneless goes for $24.00

AD: High Museum of Atlanta

They offer some tasty sides from french fries, sweet potato fries, fried dumplings, pickled radish, mac and cheese, etc.

I highly recommend for first timers to try their Golden Original Whole Chicken, Secret Spicy Boneless, and/or Galbi Wings.  You will instantly find the meat moist and tasty. Unlike your most other fried chicken franchise, they are not as greasy or heavy in taste.

This place gets busy on the weekends as young crowds and families gather to dine in and enjoy the K-Pop videos screened at their big screen television panels. They also offer take out orders.
