NACA awarded donations to Carter Center’s China Program, GSU Perimeter’s Nursing Program, GA Tech-Shenzhen and Good Shepherd Services

Chamblee, February 16, 2019 — The National Association of Chinese Americans (NACA) celebrated The Year of the Pig with a fund raising banquet at Canton House.

Over 300 guests including elected officials, business and community leaders attended the annual event. Among the guest of honors included Dr. Wang Yu, Deputy Consul General of Consulate General of Peoples Republic of China in Houston. Dr. Wang Yu also delivers the keynote speech for the evening. Also present are Doraville Mayor Donna Pittman and Stone Mountain Mayor Patricia Wheeler.

NACA presented donations of $10,000 to the Carter Center's China Program, $10,000 to the Georgia State University Perimeter College's Nursing Program, $10,000 donation to Georgia Tech’s Shenzhen campus in China, and $5000 donation to Good Shepherd Services of Atlanta.
