A major bakery franchise from New York and Northern California has landed in Duluth. Paris Baguette opened its door in late 2013 with a major renovation to the stand alone building across from Pinetree Plaza on Buford Highway.
With its signature bright blue and white colors, your senses will be delighted when you stepped into the cafe. The decor is sleek and modern with mirrored walls and ceiling. The cafe is French themed with the Eiffel Tower as their logo and their employee uniforms are striped shirts with french berets — which adds to the French allure.
All of the pastry selections looked delicious, we just sampled a few to start with — cronuts, canele, macaroons, and blueberry tart. We enjoyed the pastries as it was not overly sweet. It has the perfect balanced touch of sweetness.
There was a good mix of fresh pastries and pre-packaged options. The decorated cakes looked great in the display and the pre-made gourmet sandwiches looked tasty.
They also carry a comprehensive beverage selection including various coffee options (frappes. lattes), juices, smoothies, and bubble teas.
If you are price sensitive – beware as their prices are above the norm for Atlanta’s bakery prices.
You will not find college kids doing their school work as this place has no WiFi. The place has a seating capacity of 36 seats only — quite small for a cafe.
Another major drawback is the limited and small parking space.
You will be paying for the consistent quality, cool atmosphere, and the positive experience once you are inside the store.
Paris Baguette is a great addition to the wide selection of Korean bakery in Atlanta.
